ABOUT THE EVENT
For many non-profit organizations, approximately 40% of donations are received at year end. Last year, more than 45,000 organizations in 71 countries came together to celebrate #GivingTuesday, the day after Cyber Monday. Since its founding in 2012, #GivingTuesday has inspired giving around the world, resulting in greater donations, volunteer hours, and activities that bring about real change in communities. The time to start planning for your year-end activities is now.
When planning the marketing strategy for your nonprofit, there is a world of ideas to explore that can help you engage with your audience and have a real conversation with your supporters. But your marketing goals should always come back to the thing that’s going to keep your organization successful and growing: generating revenue and donations.
This workshop will help you identify the different types of digital strategies that could work for your organization, and you’ll learn about the elements of an online marketing campaign, how to plan and schedule it, how to leverage social media and engage new and existing donors. You’ll get simple tips on how to get your message across and shared and to save time preparing and implementing your campaign. You’ll also have the opportunity to capture ideas and build out your own online campaign framework. By planning now, you will get a framework you can use all year to increase your results.
This seminar is scheduled to last 90 minutes. Light refreshments will be provided. Registrations prior to the event are requested and recommended.
